Daycares that serve organic food?

Hi fellow MSP bumpies!

I am on the search for a daycare that serves organic food in Minneapolis. I am already on the waiting list at Jardin Magico and have looked into Kinderberry Hill (seems way too expensive) and Child Garden Montessori. We live in Minneapolis near Highland Park, and are willing to drive a bit. Hubby works in Woodbury area, so that could work as well.

Any suggestions are appreciated! Thank you!

Re: Daycares that serve organic food?

  • Primrose School in Edina (and maybe one in Plymouth, too) serve organic food. Maybe not your area. I had them email me a sample menu. But, it is expensive.

  • The Kinderberry Hill center serves organic food.  They also provide diapers and formula for the children in their care.

  • Kinderberry Hill has a farm to table program. They provide breakfast, lunch and a snack daily (not to mention diapers). We go to the one in Roseville and love it.  It's expensive, but worth it if you can swing it somehow.  Besides the healthy food, their teachers are well trained, professional and the children are happy. All kids get music class, spanish class, yoga and they teach sign language as well.  I have been an educator for 18 years and couldn't recommend Kinderberry Hill more highly.
