Popcorn and chips

do you let LO eat them?

DD loves popcorn, it worries me when she eats it though and I usually crush it up a little in my hand and make sure she doesnt get the hard pieces

I may be super paranoid, but this article scarred me, so she doesn't eat popcorn.

As for chips, I do let her eat them, but about the only time that is, is when we're at a Mexican restaurant.

Chips yes, Lena has had them a few times at parties and such. Popcorn no, we haven't really been around any but I don't think I would let her yet.

No popcorn yet, but he has had chips. One at a time, of course. He loves them.

No popcorn, she's had chips a few times, and I just started letting her have peanuts. Oh and she had a few peanut butter M&Ms- I was worried about those M&Ms because they're a lot bigger than regular ones, but she did fine. We're just not huge popcorn fans here, plus I keep reading about all the janky chemicals and GMOs used in popcorn, and I'm just kind of skieved.

Yes, she's had/likes both. When she has popcorn, I just make sure to get rid of any loose kernels.

omg thanks for this article, I found another good one too about how you should avoid it. I emailed it to H and mom and inlaws who watch her often.
