1/10,000 for Trisomy 18

I'm 29 30 in June. Genetic Counselor said these were good odds but still wish our Downs odds were better. Just worrying to worry now. Now I see why some moms don't want this testing done. I was shaking when she called!

    Yes we could do further bloodwork but the counselor did say we're low risk and the results were good. I'm just being crazy now.... It's very hard not to over analyze!

    I know you wish your odds were lower but the risk is less than two tenths of a percent. That is incredibly low!

    At some point all odds are still odds, so even if they were 1/5,000 there would still be the very slightest chance.

    These odds are very much in your favor, I hope you can find some comfort in that!
