Baby girl is 3 months now and sometime she wants to eat just a little bit an other times she eats a ton. For those of you who give bottles, how much is the right amount? How many ounces should she get in a day? We used to strictly nurse, but I'm back at work and I feel like I'm playing a guessing game.
The general rule of thumb is 2 - 2.5 oz per pound. If she only wants to eat a little at a time only give her 2 oz at a time so you're not wasting anything. We make formula ahead of time in a small jug and give it to her as needed so we don't waste.
