Well that was dumb

Had my first NST today, and I swear the machine was a hundred years old. It totally had an Apple II vibe. No big deal if it had worked properly but even though you could hear her heartbeat the whole time it wouldn't record it half the time, and of course missed all but one of the times where her hr went up when she moved. The nurse was practically having a fit because she could hear LO moving around and hear her hr going up but the stupid machine wouldn't record it. She finally let me leave even though the machine had only recorded one period of elevated hr because it had been ages and LO was obviously fine and the stupid thing wouldn't work right.

Time for a new machine methinks... 

It was cool when I got to hear her having hiccups though!

ETA: Oh, and I did have to use the clicky button, but they pretty much ignored that readout so I'm not sure what the point was. Couldn't knit but at least I could read.
