Potty Training W/Treats

in Toddlers: 24 Months+
I give DD 2 M & Ms every time she uses the potty.  We started on Thursday and she is doing great.  My question is, when do you phase out the treats?

    When she started getting the hang of it I started only giving her a treat if she asked. And then we went to she had to stay dry for the day to get a treat, and then we were having poop issues so she only got a treat when she pooped. And then we just dropped it and it wasn't an issue.

    Same... after he got pretty good, I only gave it if he asked, and he asked less and less until he forgot about it.

    once we ran out of M&Ms I just 'forgot' to buy anymore :)

    she still needed an incentrive for #2 though, so we downgraded to little teddy cookies - only 1 !

    4 months later and we had run out, but she spotted a box at the store. I figure a few little cookies a day isn't going to kill her, would rather that positive reinforcement than continuing with chocolate forever

    I'm hoping she forgets about it eventually

    We just phased out the treats (#2 only) 2 weeks ago. She's been fully trained for a few months now and was still asking for treats for #2 but it seems she's forgotten about it so I think we're good now! lol
