I'm so frustrated with myself since it seems so hard to loose the last 20 lbs. I lost all my baby weight so fast with my first son so I guess I was thinking it'll be the same this time around. I know it takes time but I'm more frustrated because I struggle everyday to find something to wear! My old clothes are too tight and I don't want to keep wearing my maternity clothes. I really don't want to spend money to get a whole new wardrobe either. It's just so depressing getting ready everyday. I feel and look like a slob. Ok, thanks for listening to my whining.
Re: Vent about clothes after baby
Ok, other than this was my first baby, your post is me exactly! I was at a healthy weight pre-pregnancy but gained 40lbs. Oops! The first 20 were gone in the first week pp, but the second 20 are still there. So depressing! It makes it worse to hear about all the moms who lost the weight right away without even trying.
I don't want to be this flabby but with BFing I am SO hungry all the time! I'm still in my maternity pants too because my tummy area is soooo poochy still. For tops, I wear nursing tanks from Target with a v-neck cardigan sweater overtop. It hides some of the tummy and gives me some shape. Obviously I don't have much advice, but its always nice to hear you're not the only one.
This! I bought one pair of jeans and they don't even fit right. I'm a hair stylist and sooo don't look it. I'm just so frumpy. I was fluffy pre preg, but I'm just fat now. Sigh. I am also starving all the time because of bfing.

This exactly! I am so uncomfortable in everything I wear!
Ugh I am in the same boat. Gained 45, lost 25 right away, 12 to go. I think I have only lost so much because I'm a runner and have given up dairy - I used to cover everything in cheese. BFing and I crave sweets all the time! I can polish off a whole 10 oz bag of Pretzel M&Ms in a day. I think my body is hanging onto the rest of the weight for BFing.
I lost a ton of weight before pregnancy and saved all my old jeans. They didn't fit right even though I weighed less after baby than I did when I was fat. Slowly I am noticing they fit better but my tummy is definitely still flabby. Even if the legs of my jeans are loose I have a muffin top. I recommend American Eagle jeans. I know they're for tweens, but for some reason the waistband always stretches out really loose. I used to hate it but now those are the only jeans that actually fit me!
What do you BFing ladies do about your boobs? Mine look so saggy in a nursing cami, especially under a sweater. Nursing bras do the same thing. They were D for the first month but I think I'm a C cup now. I have one with underwire where they actually look decent but for some reason that bra is tricky to NIP with. They don't seem saggy when I'm not wearing anything, just after I put clothes on!
