DD is 14 weeks and lately I've really been having trouble feeding her. She already won't take a bottle ( I work 3 days/week and she waits till I get home to really nurse. She may get in a few ounces here and there from the bottle of pumped milk). Now she refusing to nurse sometimes too. She doesn't give me cues that she's hungry, so I just try to nurse after 2 1/2-3 hours , sometimes longer, and she'll start to suck, then turn away. The suck, turn away, Then when I try to keep nursing she gets upset and cries. It's a constant battle. Sometimes at night she'll give in, but I have to rock her and put the white noise machine on. She's not gaining weight now as she should. I'm so stressed. My pediatricians office was not help. Any one else experience this?
Re: Crying when I try to breastfeed
As crazy as this sounds try taking her potty as latching/unlatching is a potty signal.

This was my DS2's behavior because of MSPI. Are baby's diapers yellow and seedy as they should be? If they are green and/or mucousy, call the doc. My DS2 had undetectable blood in the stool.
Also, it could be gas or teething -- the act of sucking is sometimes uncomfortable during teething.
