preservatives free shots

My son is getting his shots on Wednesday Sad and my husband and I both had an reaction to them when we were his age. One person from church told us about preservative free shots. Did anyone do preservative free shots?  I am planning on calling his doctor on Monday.

    I know you can get the flu shot without thymerisol (sp), but I didn't know regular vaxes could come that way.

    Definitely ask your ped.
    I am not sure what is available but I have heard of of that.

    My pediatrician had us fill out a survey when we started to go to him. He noticed that we all are allergic to something. So he suggested to give preservative free vaxs. We didn't do it this time but kept an eye on him for reactions. It's really the same product and its the same price. We just wanted to use the regular to see if we could identify an allergy.
