  I had a cold a few weeks ago.  My doctor said cough drops are fine to take, ie: halls/vicks.  Hydrasense nose spray is safe too as long as there is no aloe vera in it.  Vicks vaporub for your throat, chest and nose, honey lemon tea for your throat.

  I was told not to take any cough drops.  I was told if I had a sore throat and needed to suck on something to use the Vitamin C drops.

  I was told all cough drops are ok. In fact, I've been popping Halls all day with this annoying cough I currently have.
