pubic bone pain

Hello Ladies,

I thought i would ask you ladies a question that you might be able to answer since you all are ahead of me in your pregnancies:)

For the past couple weeks i have been having pain (sometimes shooting) on the right side of my pubic bone area only. TMI... where the vaginal lips are lol. Is anyone else experiencing this? Lastly, i definitely know this is not lightening crotch pain, that sensations goes up my entire vagina.

Does it feel like you're bruised, kind of? Look into SPD - I think I've got a bit, as the sore spot is bang on where the ligaments are in the middle of my pelvis.

That's some good info. If it's bad, ask your doctor for a physio referral.

Omg, that's exactly what I've been feeling lately! Only on my left side though like right beside my inner panty line. And maaan it hurts sometimes! The way I described it to my husband was by saying that it feels like we've had a marathon sex session and I feel bruised. Lol that seems to be the best way for my gfs to understand what I'm feeling too. I'm 30 weekend this week and just crossing my fingers that it doesn't get too much worse. Good luck!

It's seafloor spreading...at least that's what mine was. I have gotten it every 6 weeks or so for a few days. The first time was around 20 weeks. It tapers off, then comes raging back randomly, etc.

I think that started for me around 20 22 weeks. My doctor said its my body getting ready to push out the little man.

Mine is terrible. Especially when I get up from sitting.

It's just getting worse and worse. My chiro helps a lot, but I can't afford to see him as much as I want to.

I started to feel this at 32 weeks and am talking to my OB tomorrow about it. A heating pad on my lower back hip bones works but I can barely get out of bed without the pain being excruciating. Did you try one of those belly belts?
