  I bought my first "mommy suit" last summer with a skirted bottom and bra style top. When I breastfed at the pool and beach, I just tucked the soft cup under my boob. It pulled down on one side just fine. I used a beach towel to cover up on top.

  I nursed in a tankini.  It wasn't the easiest thing I've ever done but it worked.  I'd probably prefer something at I didn't need to expose my tummy in.

  Any type of halter top should work fine. You just need to be able to pull one breast out while leaving the other covered.

  I just used a triangle top. It worked pulling one side out and the other stayed in.
