Re: 4/29: Weekly Accountability Check In!
I had a rough week with exercising. I did my normal exercise, I just didn't give it my all. I also struggled majorly with eating healthy. I was craving carbs and gave in several times, maybe a little too much. I had no weight loss or gain, I am at the same weight and I think I have hit a plateau so I am going to bump up my healthy eating and exercise a lot this week. I am disappointed and discouraged but I kind of knew I would have these results. I just need to hit the ground running this week and keep my motivation going everyday. I am trying really hard to stay positive.
I hope everyone had a great week and I can't wait to hear everyone's check ins! Let's make this another great week ladies!

Hey ladies!
I'm a quasi lurker... I love working out and fitness and being healthy is a pretty big part of my life! LOL You know you work out a lot when your DD knows the daycare ladies at the gym by name at the age of one! LOL I'm hear for maintenance! Recently lost 70 pounds (capped off with a lil help from Advocare!) and going to desperately try and keep it off. I'm a roller coaster gainer (tho those 70lbs were ALL pregnancy yuck). Hoping to keep it down! DH has also recently lost a ton of weight and he is way more susceptible to putting it back on... so I know if I stay on track it will def help him!
Monday's I generally start off 3 - 4 pounds heavier than Fridays (yes I weight every day, I'm type A...) but today I was only up two! and that's WITH ice cream last night! saweet! Looking good for week's end! Looking to make sure that I get to the gym M, T, W, R this week as DD's 1st bday party is Saturday and I know I'll be running around like crazy Friday night and Sat day!
Have a great week ladies!
Morning ladies! Having this thread to look forward me made me behave better last week.
I did well in terms of exercise: 3 runs for a total of 10 miles, two JM work-outs and one relaxed half hour tennis session with DH.
My diet is generally ok although I do eat what I cook for the kids and that means cornbread waffles for breakfast on Saturday and such. The week's sweets tally (my weakness): one biiiiig slice of cheesecake and two cookies.
I'm kinda annoyed because I've been back to working out for a month now (after the winter hiatus) and I have yet to shed a pound. Granted I don't have a huge amount to go (I'm 5'10 and am 152 now but would love to get back to the goal which I reached last summer of 145-147) but come-on! Not a single pound? I think I need to go back to keeping a food diary so hello again myfitnesspal - you are annoying and you suck up 15 minutes of my day but you force me to be more mindful of portion sizes and such.
Have a good Monday everyone.
This is my 1st check-in, I lurk here often though
The boards I'm on most frequently are my BMB, SAHM, and Toddler 12-24m.
Not trying to lost weight, just tone up. I really want to start eating cleaner and am trying to get DH more on board. He is a big fan of chips and granola bars though so it's going to be hard for me to convince him to give them up. I have no willpower with food, so I prefer to not buy the crap I don't want to eat...if it's here, I'm eating it.
I went to the gym 2 times last week, ran 20mins on our treadmill yesterday morning and took an afternoon walk with DS too. I'm going to pilates class at the gym in a couple hours. I've never done pilates before and am nervous/excited!
Sounds like you're doing good! Thanks for joining in.

Hang in there. Food diaries are good accountability tools. It's sounds like you're on the right track.

I'm the same way with junk food! Good luck at Pilates!

we sound a lot a like. my DD likes to do crunches with me and yoga. LOL. I gained 76lbs with DD
and lost them all plus 9 more.
Hi ladies this is my first check in. Last year I lost over 60 lbs. Then since Christmas I've put 20lbs back on.
Looking back I can see that it was some stress that triggered bad eating, and then I broke the good habits I'd built. So now I'm really trying to rebuild my healthy eating habits and fit some activity into my life
My meals themselves are well-balanced, it's all the chocolate, cake, biscuits and wine that goes on in between.
So I've been removing temptation from the house, and just practicing making a better choice when I'm tempted. Also really considering if I'm hungry or simply bored, tired, stressed.
In terms of activity, I'm working to make my overall day more active, and putting in chunks of activity like dancing with the kids, or doing some crunches.

Don't stress too much! I had an off week too!

Sounds like you're off to a great start at getting back on track. Welcome and good luck!

It doesn't sound like you did bad. A little splurge here and there is needed, I think.
