1st Trimester

Symptoms come and go?

I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and so excited!  I had a miscarriage in February around 5 weeks so I'm super anxious right now! I haven't had many symptoms other than being tired and swollen, sore breasts. For the last weekone day my breasts will be so sore it hurts to move much. Other days they won't hurt much at all. They continue to feel full, but the soreness comes and goes. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm trying not to freak out.

  • Definitely this.

I'm very sorry for your previous loss. Symptoms will come and go throughout your whole pregnancy. nbsp; There are days that I feel absolutely awesome then others that I'm hating pregnancy. nbsp;Symptoms do not dictate whether you are having a healthy pregnancy or not.

  • I'm exactly 5 weeks today and i feel the same way.  My breasts will be extremely sore then the next feel a little better.  I'm also having bad cramps on and off but no bleeding so im trying not to worry too much.
  • I'm a little over 5 weeks now and I'm the same way. I honestly haven't had too many symptoms to begin with. I've had some cramping, sore breasts and nipples, increased urination, and extreme fatigue. I haven't really had much in the way of morning sickness or mood swings yet, but I know it's still early and it's more than likely going to hit me at any time now lol. The dizziness hit me yesterday, and I had some nausea yesterday morning but it was very mild and went away in about 5 to 10 minutes

  • I am so sorry for your loss. And symptoms do come and go! On those days you feel great enjoy them! I know that is hard to do, especially with everything you have gone through. I have been so sick these last few weeks and I am looking forward to some relief some time! Good luck and hope you have a great and wonderful pregnancy!

    This.

  • I found out at 4 wks and am now 8 wks 2 days and my symptoms have been on and off all the time. It's hard not to get paranoid, especially if you've had a loss, but its totally normal. I tend to have 2 nasty days followed by 2 good days. It's still very early for you to be feeling symptoms at all, so just hold tight and I'm sure they'll come.
  • This post makes me very thankful for this website. I am 9w 4days and have experienced very few symptoms. At 5 weeks I was told to prepare for a miscarriage so I have been a bit paranoid and I tend to be a worry wart anyway.

My few symptoms (breast tenderness, fatigue, bloating & mood changes) seem to be lessening. I still have them all just not as strong as they were a week or so ago. Nor are my symptoms changing at all.

Trying to take the advise you all have provided and not freak out as well. I still have 22 more days until my next Dr. appt. That seems like forever!

annecreynolds thanks for posting and I hope all is well with you. Thoughts are with you and fingers crossed.
