Recommend diaper pail please?

FTM here, looking for recommendations for diaper pails for CDs. I don't know if a machine washable one is a good idea, if I should have more than one, etc.

Any advice you can offer is much appreciated :)

Re: Recommend diaper pail please?

  • I use a large hanging wetbag (Fuzzibunz are my favourite, if you can find them!). I have two bags ... one in the wash/clean and one in use. I hang mine off the back of the door, and when it's time to wash, I turn it inside out into the washer. So easy! And no stink issues.

  • We use a pail liner in a kitchen size step trash can. We have two liners so there is always one in the pail if the other is in the wash.

  • We have thoes large metal step trash cans with an antibactrial liner/bag that goes into the wash with the diapers. I found that the plastic pails don't work well as they over time really suck in the smell of pee and poo. Metal doesn't.
