Ugh, I hate these. I have to go to a meeting next week with my extended team and we have to bring something "that describes us or our interests." I have no idea so I'm hoping for some inspiration. What would you bring to a meeting that best describes you or your interests?
Re: ice breaker games
FFS, I cannot stand these types of activities. It like someone wrote a handbook of team building meetings in the 80s and nobody has bothered to revise it.
How about making a top 10 list of why these 'games' are lame and a waste of time.
That should bond some folks.
That's awesome, I love it!
I'm a runner, so I'd bring in a medal from my last race.
Other ideas: a favorite book, a cookbook, a picture/item from your last vacation, a bottle of wine
I was coming into this post to say just say no to ice breaker games but I see you already feel that way (thank goodness.)
I'd probably bring food because I do enjoy cooking or baking and hey, what is a better ice breaker than food?
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
