Working Moms...Question?

I notice that Mondays are the hardest on me emotionally to be away from DD. Other days the time flies by and I barely notice it, but Mondays are always the worst. I'm thinking it's because I get such a nice weekend with her and then it's back to only seeing her 1-2 hours/day. Does anyone else feel like Mondays are the worst? Or is it just me....

Nope, you're not alone. Mondays suck and I look at pics of DD 50 million times from the weekend because I miss her so much.

Yep, Mondays suck and are hard. They're harder on Ian too. It's like he has 2 days with Mommy and come Monday I leave him again. Mondays after a long weekend are especially harder on us both.

THANK you both for responding to this. I was trying to explain it to DH. My heart just feels extra sad on Mondays. It's like going through withdrawl. Cute, cuddly, kissy withdrawl. And IT SUCKS!

I'm actually ok on Monday. Wednesdays are hard for me because I work from home so we have some more time in the morning to play and it is so much harder to leave to take her to daycare after having some quality time in the morning.

The other four days are easy, we have a routine and execute it so quickly there isn't really time to "see" her in the mornings. I never see her in the morning anymore because DH is home with her until he leaves.

I called it the Weekend Hangover. We have the BEST time on the weekends. And it really sucks when I have to leave him.

It was hard today because he had a sleepover with his Grandparents. While I had my whole Sunday morning to myself (slept in till 10!). I really did miss him.
