Since I didn't have a shower, most of the gifts I have received have been very thoughtful gifts that I love.
A neighbor crocheted a beautiful blanket for us, another military spouse from a former command sent a wooden submarine teething ring and digi camo cloth diaper, and one of my besties sent a super cute blanket/burp/wet bag combo from Etsy. I love them all equally.
Least favorite - the 12 month baby bootie rattles. I know babies love their feet, but I don't know, to me they are a strange and useless gift. lol.
My favorite baby gift so far has to be the stroller my mom surprised us with.
Least favorite:
All of the boys clothing that DH's grandma bought us- she really wanted us to have another boy...
That's an awesome stroller!
Thank you! We really love it. You can turn the seats to face any direction you want and I have the infant carseat attachment to add our chicco keyfit30 carseat. The only downside is how heavy it is, but it will be easier to lift and maneuver when I'm not packing around this belly!

This is a tough one. I think my favorite gift was from my mom. She saved my coming home from the hospital outfit- right down to the booties- and wrapped it up and gave it to me at my shower. It's pretty incredible. I am having a girl, so will definitely be using pieces to bring her home in.
All of the gifts we've received have been so thoughtful, I don't know if I can pick a least favorite. I don't 'love' a couple of the outfits we received, so I'll go with that!

Favorite - more boyish carrier since DD's ergo has flowers
Least Favorite - clothes with words on them like "mommy thinks I'm handsome"

Our cousins husband made wooden teethers. Each one is a different type of wood all treated with coconut oil so they are nontoxic. First one is a hippo, then an elephant and a giraffe. LOVE them.
Least fav was from a friend. A dollar store bottle with cash stuffed into it. Grateful for funds in baby's piggy bank, but really not much thought when she is one of our more creative gift giving friends...
Favorite gift was a teddy bear hand made by DH's old HS art teacher. (who also happens to be his BFF's MIL.) Wish I had a pic... it looks so high end. AND it came with a handmade card depicting the story of Winnie the Pooh (not the Disney one)
Least Favorite gift is this porcelain blue and white bottle bank. I'm pretty sure it was a re-gift.
A friend painted a picture that coordinates with our bedding. It was beautiful. The wings are yellow and may not show up great in the picture.
My mother in law made me a rag quilt that I love and knitted me a beautiful baby blanket. She hates attention and didn't want to give them to me at the shower. I love the rag quilt so much, I considered using it as the new bedding instead of my PBK bedding. It has blocks of color and blocks of vintage fabric with kids playing. Kinda like the campbells kids but cuter? I have no idea what it is called.
Edited to add least favorite: I got several outfits that have like leopard prints on them. So not a fan.
Favorite gift: One of my mom's friends always makes a "stuffed baby" for showers. She picks a stuffed animal to use as the head and then fills a sleeper with onesies, bath towels, socks, hats, bibs, and tons of useful items. I've seen so many of these over the years I was thrilled to finally get one for my own. Here it is at my shower laying in a bassinet (before I "opened" it) that another of my mom's friends is letting us borrow.
I haven't come across a "least favorite gift." I've just been overwhelmed by the support everyone has given us.
First Son - born 2013
Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). First open heart surgery at 5 days old. He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing. Third Son - due June 9, 2018
Favorite gift would probably be two books that were H's great aunts and grandmothers books. One is a nursery rhyme book and one is a fairy tale book. They were Christmas gifts to them from Santa in 1923 and then H's Great Aunt had them re-bound in the early 80's. They are like family heirlooms!
Least favorite gift: Probably towels. We have gotten so many and they had no receipts so I can't bring them back.
Along the lines of the fox hat and tail... My favorite aunt knitted a baby hat and swaddler to look like the Very Hungry Caterpillar! It is adorable and I can't wait to take LO's picture in it! I'm mobile so I can't post a pic right now, but will try later.
Least favorite: anything that has the word "princess" on it.
My favorite: probably all the super cute headbands and little girl clothes that my MIL and best friend bought. LO#1 was a boy so I am loving all of the cutsie girl stuff.
Least favorite: the long sleeved onesies I received from my co-worker that are clearly from Christmas time and obviously bought off of the clearance rack.
Favorite was an awesome chevron pattern quilt and spare diaper bag my mom made me.I don't have a pic of the actual quilt but she used this pattern in dark purple (that will match our nursery walls) instead of gray on the front.
Least favorite was a hideous romper. The tag said Kohls on it so I tried to return it and they said it's so old they have no record of it in their system anymore.I feel bad not liking it but I ended up putting it in a bag of donations for Goodwill so maybe someone else will love it.
Favorite: Fox hat and diaper cover for newborn shootLeast favorite: I feel like an ungrateful b!tch, but I got a pair of baby Converse and I just don't see the point. nbsp;They are annoying me to no end. nbsp;nbsp;
Without a doubt, adorable!! We'll have to see a pic of babe in this!
Favorite gift...the blankets my mom crocheted for Jackson. She's starting to get arthritis and has a bad back, so I know it wasn't the easiest of tasks.
Least favorite...a Tshirt a friend of my SO's got the baby that says "Watch your f.ck.ng mouth. There's a baby around!" It says the full word, though. Jackson will never wear it.
Favorite: City Mini Stroller from my ILs was a huge purchase, I also love that we got some homemade blankets. So sentimental and functional.
Least favorite: my mom had some monogrammed items made that are just really not my style. The prints are just super tacky to me and even though I've told her no football team related things please (she and MH like rivaling teams, it's so stupid and annoying to me and I really don't want our kid dragged into it)- but of course she did it anyway.
Here's part of it, this is the only picture I could find right now-
favorite: probably our bjorn bouncer. I really wasn't expecting to get it as a gift! Also looking forward to handmade gifts we're expecting after the baby is born, and getting the crib my grandfather made when my mom was pregnant with my older sister.
least favorite: A bag of stuff that included dreft, huggies, and a johnson and johnson gift set, etc. DH and I are kind of hippies and don't like to use those kinds of products so we gave them to other people who needed them. It was bothersome cause it was a very close relative and it was clear she did not even look at our registry or anything, but I am glad we found people who needed them to give them to!
So many favorites it's hard to choose. I had two friends handmake blankets so those are pretty special. I also love the six or so Broncos colored outfits with coordinating shoes and ruffle butt covers.
My least favorite was the AW bosses wife print out complete with poem of the diaper bag she "purchased". After spending two hours confirming it was the one I wanted and making me track it down in person... it has yet to arrive in the mail. Pretty sure it wont.

I think this is the 4th week in a row that someone posted a GTKY question on Monday that I was planning on using for the Tuesday check in. Anyone have another question for me to use tomorrow?
Favorite: I'm just shocked at the generosity of some people--pack&play, swing, travel system from people who I just did not expect to purchase such large items.
Least favorite: Sleep monkey that makes "real monkey noises" ... no thanks ... returned for store credit and used to purchase extra car seat base.
No picks, nbsp;I'm lazy.nbsp;Favorite: my crib/bed setLeast: ask the clothes that MIL bought. nbsp;Everything she got us says "daddy's girl" on it. nbsp;I love that I have clothes that say it, nbsp;but all 10 outfits she got us have that saying. nbsp;Just a little annoyed, nbsp;flame me.nbsp;
No flames from me. If my MIL did that, I would be annoyed too! And I could picture it happening, especially since I'm "the girl who stole her son away"
We haven't really gotten any baby gifts since she's number 2. Poor girl is going to have hand me downs her entire life. MIL did pay for our RNP though and that has been great for sleeping so far!
Favorite: Our city mini stroller from my Grammy and a custom book my sister made that is about our LO and all the good qualities you need to have to be a princess. I know it sounds cheesy, but they are good qualities like, loving, honest, energetic....it's sweet.
Least favorite GIFT: stained, used onesies someone gave me at my shower..."wrapped" in a brown Trader Joes bag. I am ALL for hand-me-downs, don't get me wrong! My sister gave me a ton of adorable clothes and toys.
But used clothes as a GIFT.....that have stains....seemed out of place.
First... botanicalbliss, how could our favorites be so similar and yet you diss the converse?! I've already accumulated a ridiculous amount of hi-tops in various tiny sizes. Of course, I own them in almost every color for myself.
I have a tie for favorites, I hope that doesn't disqualify me.
My grandmother made this raccoon themed blanket, hat, and diaper cover with fuzzy tail. The yarn she used is super super soft too!
My mom made this diaper train for our shower with tons of awesome stuff on it (including Converse socks... lol). DH's father loved trains because his father was a conductor, so it was a nice surprise to remember them both this way. It was tough to take it apart!
I don't have a picture of it, but our least favorite would have to be the entire basket of brand new pink girl stuff with all tags removed and no receipts. Since we're Team Green, there's a good chance all those items will be passed on to someone else... and even if we do have a girl, I'm not sure I'd put the giant flower headbands and ruffled tutus to much use, although they could look uber cute with those Chucks.
Favorite: the red Ferrari walker, lol, or one of the many handmade items. A friend made me a superhero ABC cross stich that matches the nursery perfectly and she didn't even know my theme for sure.
Least favorite: ditto the clothes (mostly Carter's) with dumb sayings on them like "Mommy's all star" and "Daddy's big guy."
Re: GTKY: Baby Gifts
Favorite: Fox hat and diaper cover for newborn shoot
Least favorite: I feel like an ungrateful b!tch, but I got a pair of baby Converse and I just don't see the point. They are annoying me to no end.
Favorite: cradle that my FIL built, and dresser that my dad built. I only have a pic of the cradle.
Least favorite: a pink and zebra-print onesie that says "BORN TO SHOP" in glitter. I'm pretty sure Snooki would actually wear it.
My favorite baby gift so far has to be the stroller my mom surprised us with.
Least favorite:
All of the boys clothing that DH's grandma bought us- she really wanted us to have another boy...
I absolutely LOVE the hat and diaper cover!! TOO SWEET. I hope you share those photos with us!
Oh don't worry! I will!
We haven't gotten anything for this baby yet, but for DD I loved the quilted wall hanging she got from DH's grandma.
Least favorite, any outfit my grandma got her. So ugly.
That's an awesome stroller!
Since I didn't have a shower, most of the gifts I have received have been very thoughtful gifts that I love.
Favorite: Travel system my parents got us, Alice in wonderland book my dad wrote a letter to Madison in, and the coming home outfit mil got.
Least: Some cheetah blanket that says girls rule, it wasn't really something for a baby.
Thank you! We really love it. You can turn the seats to face any direction you want and I have the infant carseat attachment to add our chicco keyfit30 carseat. The only downside is how heavy it is, but it will be easier to lift and maneuver when I'm not packing around this belly!
I love the crocheted receiving blanket my grandma made for the baby. I got the matching crocheted booties from my great aunt.
Least favorite is a pack of tacky Puma onesies. Everything else we got is awesome.
This is a tough one. I think my favorite gift was from my mom. She saved my coming home from the hospital outfit- right down to the booties- and wrapped it up and gave it to me at my shower. It's pretty incredible. I am having a girl, so will definitely be using pieces to bring her home in.

Love the quilt!
Favorite: the red Ferrari walker, lol, or one of the many handmade items. A friend made me a superhero ABC cross stich that matches the nursery perfectly and she didn't even know my theme for sure.
