Birthing classes

When will you be starting to take your lamaze or birthing classes and which ones will you take? My hospital offers a bunch of different ones and I feel so confused on when and which ones to take.

I start mine tomorrow at 26 weeks. It's a childbirth, newborn care, and breastfeeding basics class. It was pretty expensive but my doctor recommended it so I figured why not. It's 3 hours every Monday for 6 weeks.

With dd 1 we took a 4 week class one night a week that was 2 hrs and started around 30 weeks. I found it really helpful especially for dh

We're taking a natural birthing class starting in two weeks that lasts for 6 weeks. After then its the CPR and breast feeding one. I asked my midwife and based on my very vague current birth plan, she recommend those three. If I decide to not go the natural way, they offer another class that offers medicine intervention.

This is EXACTLY our plan, except I'm 23w and the class starts at 25w.

Our local hospital offers a class for preparing for birth and childcare for the first few weeks so we are taking that one July 20.

We did the hospital tour and will be taking a one-day Saturday class in July for expecting parents. I'm pretty sure its just general info.

I am taking my Lamaze class on June 1 so I will be 30-31 weeks and my Newborn care class on July 16. My Husband and I already took a breastfeeding & prenatal care class and he took a Father's only class called..Bootcamp for Dad's (So cute).
