I have taken 3 first response brand tests all had a very light positive line then I took the dollar brand one and it was the same color as the.test line. people tell me they arent dark enough to confirm? is it or not?
A positive line is a positive line. A positive result won't show up unless your body is producing hcg. If it's right after implantation the line can be faint but can get darker the longer you're pregnant. However the faintness of the line doesn't really matter. A positive result is a positive result either way. When I tested on a walmart brand test it was very faint. Then I tested a day later on a clear blue and a FRER test and they both were positives and had a darker result.
I first tested 10 DPO with a Target test, it was the faintest line. But it was still a line. Tested 12 DPO with a Target test, it wasn't as dark as the test line. But it was there instantly. I tested today with a test from dollar tree, it was a light line. I go in tomorrow to confirm. But I agree with PP - a line is a line.
see thats what I thought. and weirdly enough both my.pregnancies have startes out with a super bad sinus infection which I have right now so I knew something was up

A line is a line, my dear. Mine were faint for a while but after about a week, it was indisputable.
CONGRATS!
