Cloth Diapering

CD safe rash cream?

We have a GroVia Magic Stick that we use for pretty much every diaper change.  I would like a more heavy-duty cream for serious rashes.  Any suggestions?

Re: CD safe rash cream?

  • We use yum bum butter for night and if she gets red bum. LO had one really bad burn-like rash with welts, and even penaten cream (not CD safe) did little. The best cure IMO for a bad rash is air. Leaving her in a fitted with no cover or naked on a towel cleared it up very quickly.

When Charlotte had a yeast infection on her bum in December, we let it air out all the time.  Unfortunately, that ship has sailed - she is WAY too mobile to go naked now!  She would, 24 hours a day, if we would let her.  So I just do baking soda baths now and skip the airing out.
