foods/meals w/ breast feeding

Ok, So I need some reminders here ladies.  What do you find best/easiest...to feed food to LO before or after breast feeding.  We are hitting the 6 month mark shortly and he needs to start eating some foods!

    Doctor suggests offering a meal an hour after breast feeding so they can get all the milk they need first.

    This.  We started after the morning nursing and late afternoon.  Added middle of the day after a month or two.
