Gaining popularity?

I think DH and I have finally come up with a girl name if that's what we end up having.
We love the name Harper but I'm afraid it is gaining huge popularity and I was trying to avoid that.
My name is Ashley and growing up there was always two or three other Ashley's in my class.

Do you guys know a lot of Harper's?

It's a celebrity baby name, so yeah I'd say it's trendy. Although growing up there were tons of Ashleys, it is not as popular now.

Harper is popular, overdone and will be dated in a few years. If this bothers you, don't use it.

I have a 6 year old niece named Harper. it wasn't too popular then, but since she was born I have known seven baby harpers, and we live in small town Alabama. I would say its WAY overdone, but I do love it.
