how long.for.referral to.ped. gi?

The regular ped agreed that their symptoms.are.weird and.agreed to refer us....tge referral ladybwas wishy washy abkut the whole thing so.i.plan to.call to.make.it happen faster (her words, "if youndon't hear from.me.in a week, give me a.call). It seems.like it houkd be a quick.process, considering they are babjes and they are already 4 months now. Just curious (the way other referrals work, they'd be 7months by the time.we even.got.an.appt.and that seems unacceptable)

    all the ped office needs to do to get the referral is a phone call to the ins co.  i got one for my son to go to the dermotoligist in less than a day.  so be forceful with dr.s office.

    It took until ds was 8 months old to get the pedi to refer us to the specialist.  It is another 6.5 weeks until we get an appt.

    ~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~
