Biting

I mostly lurk, but I really need some advice.  My son is 10 months and he has two teeth.  Lately he bites me every time I nurse him, and it really hurts!  I tell him no and pull him off my breast and he smiles up at me like it is a game.  Please help.

    This might sound cruel, but I lightly thumped her cheek and signed/said "no biting" which caused tears the first time, but now she is extra careful when nursing, especially when unlatching.  I also rewarded her by saying "nice nursing" every time she nursed nicely.  Now when she unlatches, she is very gentle.  She smiles and waits for me to praise her by saying "nice nursing" and then I give her a big hug and kiss.
