Bend recommendations??

I really don't have a clue as we're to go for good pregnancy care. I would like to know if anyone has a good doc recommendation and where to steer clear.

    I can't wait to hear this answer!! My doc told me to look at a nanny as it could be the same cost as infant daycare, but I can't find any options! When are you due?

    This is a super late response, but I just moved from Bend. Motherwise Community Birth Center is AMAZING. I recommend them to all my friends.

    I have heard good things about Motherwise. I chose East Cascade Women's Group. Dr. Ackerman and Dr. Ahmed are amazing, and I have had good experiences with the other physicians who work there. If you give birth at night, you would be attended by the on call physician, but you can choose to have appointments with any or all the docs to get to know them better. The Family Birthing Center at St. Charles is top notch, and I don't just say that because I work for the hospital! My son's birth there was attended by a nurse midwife who sadly changed careers...my nurses were fabulous and totally accommodating to my desire for a minimal intervention birth. We will see how it goes this time around with an MD instead of a CNM, but I anticipate another positive birth experience.
