Period or spotting?

I had a section 17 days ago. I am bleeding a little today. Like light period bleeding. I had a sharp pain when I peed and then noticed the blood. I was sore last night, but I was out raking leaves earlier in the day. Probably shouldn't have been.. ..

How do you know the difference?

    In the first 4 weeks, I was on and off bleeding the entire time, and would definitely bleed is I strained myself. It's probably still PP bleeding, most likely not AF. Just take it easy, and expect it to be pretty random bleeding/spotting for a little while.

    Ditto. I haven't bled much in 3 or 4 days, then all of a sudden I had a gush tonight. I've been sore today probably due to overdoing it yesterday.

    TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

    Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

    Thanks for the responses! Sorry I had to post and run.

    It is my period. It changed consistency, for the lack of a better word, and I can tell it is uterine lining as well, not just blood. So not excited! Haha. I wish it would have waited three weeks and I could have worn tampons. I hate pads!
