I had my first US at 9w3d but baby was only measuring "about 8.5 weeks" per US tech. I don't see my Dr again til may 14 but is it normal to have almost a week difference?
Are you going by LMP for the 9w3d? If so it's very possible you ovulated later than you think. Unless you were charting/temping there is no way to know when you ovulated. Not every woman ovulates on CD 14 or has a 28 day cycle.
I would think you are fine. The difference doesn't quite make up a week and, like the PP mentioned, you could had O'd a few days later then you think. If everything looked good on the u/s I wouldn't worry.

This! I had O'd a week later then what's normal with DS. Luckily I was charting so I knew that DS was measuring perfect with my O date.

It is not bad at all. Very common for your dates to be weird. It all depends on the growth rate of your LO. Everyone is going to be different. With my last pg, my OB measure the baby to be 6 weeks when we should've been 8. ANd then at the next u/s she thought from the last u/s that I should be only 11 weeks but the baby measured 14 weeks. To sum it all up, your doc can only make an eductaed guess based on an average growth rate for a typical baby.

I went to my appointment 2 weeks ago and according to my lmp I was 8w but the U/S measured at 6w 4d and that actually made sense because I knew when we conceived. I think it's pretty normal to not know exact dates until you see the u/s.
Same thig happened to me. Baby seemed small to my OB so she sent me for a date and size us. I thought I was 10 1/2 weeks and they dated me 9 1/2. I think it's common
The measurement is from my lmp. My cycles are usually 33 days and I know I O'd on cd 19 this cycle. So I guess that accounts for some of the difference. Thank you all for your support! I'm a ftm and worry about everything!!
Re: Dates don't match? Is that bad?
