Just curious to see if anyone is sleeping thru the night yet. Our First DD was sleeping thru night at 5 weeks...this baby was born March 6th, so she is 7 weeks and we aren't even close...she has had a couple 4 hour stretchs (day and night) and that's it. She typically goes 2-3 hours at a time.
Anyone having much luck?

As far as STTN technically she has been doing it for about 2.5 weeks now (5 hour stretches). The past 3 nights have been 7+ stretches, or 8/9 since her last bottle.
She's always been a decent night sleeper-all of her "long" stretches have occurred at night, and in the past 7 weeks she has just been slowly extended those times. Her day time naps are rarely 2 hours, usually 1-1.5 hours and her night time stretches are long stretch, feeding, shorter stretch, then up with maybe a quick nap in the swing before she's up.
What would you ladies actually consider sttn? A certain number of hours? Going and staying asleep at a certain time?
No, but I don't mind at all because her wakings are sooooo much easier than DS's were. She does a 4 hour stretch at first, then wakes after 2-3 hours and then is up around 7am, sometimes later. And when she wakes, she nurses in about 15 minutes and goes right back down in her RnP.
DS, on the other hand, was tough. He would wake every 2 hours or so but it would take FOREVER to get him back to sleep most nights. I probably walked miles pacing back and forth in our bedroom over the course of months of him sleeping crappy! We finally did CIO when he was 5 months old to get from about 4 wakings a night down to 1. Then we allowed the 1 waking (to eat) until he was 10 months when we used CIO again to cut that out. When we finally did that, he literally cried for 5 minutes at most that night- made me wish we had done it waaaaay earlier! lol
He is usually done about 8 and sleeps until 5ish. Eats than back down until 8:30. Today he slept until 6, ate and then went back down until 9!

This exactly! He's been doing this for weeks now... (Except a few days at the 6-week growth spurt, when he woke twice per night)
This!
