Fathers Day

Has anyone thought about fathers day gift ideas? This is DH's first fathers day and I'm not sure what to do for him.

What do you ladies have planned for your DH/SO?

    I haven't really thought of anything yet but I plan to check out Pinterest for ideas to make something. I'm not terribly crafty though so it will have to be something fairly simple.

    In the past, Father's Day presents for my DH varied depending on whether or not I got to see my step kids before Father's Day. The few times I did, we would make something for DH. Otherwise, I would get him a greeting card from me and something small.

    I don't view days like that as times to lavish gifts on a person. I like to give presents that are meaningful and personal. Along with whatever we give DH, we will probably make him his favourite breakfast and/or dinner and maybe go fishing or mini golfing.

    I haven't thought of anything yet. I didn't realize it's not that far away. I can honestly say I have no clue. Maybe I will order something from Omaha Steaks and cook him a surf and turf. I think he would really like that. Oh yes, and let him sleep him. lol I am an early riser so he never ever gets to do that.

    Not sure what to do for him, his 30th birthday is the week after Father's Dayf, so I'm having a hard time with the fact I want to do something nice for both! I'm guessing he's having a similar problem with me since my birthday is the day before Mother's Day!
