We have a very PT nanny for our 14 mo old son now, 10 to 15 hrs a week. We pay her 14 an hour which is on the higher side of average for our area. We may adopt a newborn due July 5. How much more should we pay her for another kid?
Our nanny is awesome. We gave her a 20% raise because she's been really flexible and we will need that to continue. I guess it really depends on average pay for your area and her performance.
I would say about $2 per hour. I would say more (because an infant is a lot of additional work) except that you say you are already paying her on the higher side for your area.
