8th week and stomach is hard

Hi everyone! This is my second pregnancy and am now older, in my early 40's and somewhat over weight. I found this website and was hoping to see that someone may be experiencing the same symptoms as me. My stomach seems higher up, like right under my breasts, and feels hard and umcomfortable. Hope to hear from some of you soon.

Sounds like bloat and gas. Hopefully it passes soon (sorry, had to).

Thank you for your replies. It helps knowing what it could be. It just seems so weird that it is so high up and it seems worse after I have eatin something. I will feel really hungry and then hardly be able to eat anything before getting full. Confused

It may not ALL be bloat, as pp's have said. Your organs start to shift about this time as your uterus is growing...especially if it's your second pregnancy. Mine is also getting harder due to everything shifting upwards.

I had problems just like you mentioned (about the getting full quickly and the hard stomach) before I was pregnant a few years ago. I didn't know at the time what caused it (it ended up going away on its own when I started eating less and healthier) but I think it was my gallbladder. I had more problems with it during pregnancy and had it removed last fall. I feel 100% better. So it may be something related to that!
