I feel you! I have no idea either. I'm still waiting for AF.
It hurts so badly that I thought something was terribly wrong with me until my mother reminded me that BC controls the awfulness of PMS. My poor DH thought I was bad before...
I'm actually confused about the fact that women don't realize this and are surprised when their periods change when they come off birth control, to be honest. I was actually surprised that my period, cramps, PMS symptoms didn't really change after birth control, because I expected them to change.
I dread AF now not just because it means I'm not KU but I get horrible cramps. I was hoping it wouldn't be as bad as in high school but they definitely are. Ones that stop me from walking around and I'm only comfortable leaning over a chair lol. Weird I know.
Yes it is a million times worse. I wasn't surprised, I was expecting it to be worse, but in the last ten years, I had forgotten how bad it used to be. The last six months have definitely reminded me though....haha.
I hate AF and can't wait to have my babies so I can get back on BCP. I get awful cramps to the point that all I can do is curl up in the fetal position with a heating pad and wait it out (and hope not to vomit... yuck).
I get awful cramps! I forgot how bad my cramps had been before going on Birth control. It's horrible to the point where I don't want to do anything that first day. Ugh!

This. I don't get it either. You were pumping your body full of hormones, of course things will be different.
I felt like an idiot when my mom pointed out the obvious. I started BCP when I was 14 because my AF had been so intensely awful. It's just been so long that dumb ss Becca didn't even think about it.
