  DH and I told immediate family like our parents and siblings after our first ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat. Don't know when we'll announce to the everyone else.

  We are 5w today and are telling both sets of parents this weekend.  We were going to wait until Mother's Day but decided we can't wait.  I will probably tell my boss and close co-workers after the first u/s in 2 weeks just in case the pregnancy starts affecting my work in any way.  Close friends and family will probably be told after 9 weeks and fb announcement after 12 weeks.

  We told parents and siblings right after we found out because they were all in town visiting, so we thought it would be fun to tell them face to face.  We haven't really told much extended family or friends.... just kind of waiting, we'll probably tell them we're expecting in the second trimester.

  I told my mother and sister immediately. DH told his parents and grandparents the day we had our first US. I wanted to wait to tell facebook world but DH announced that yesterday.

  DH wants to wait until after our first ultrasound to tell anyone but i might need to let our parents know before that.  Its hard to hide not feeling well and why im no longer having the occasional glass of wine
