Grayson- for a girl. A FB friend just had a baby girl and named her Grayson. Thoughts?

I think it sounds like they are trying way too hard to be trendy.

ETA: Because it's a really popular boys name.

    I always think Grayson is a boy's name.  I don't really like the name to being with mainly because its NMS.

    It is a boys name and it will be confusing for the poor girl.

    Definitely a boy's name IMO.

    I used to work with a girl named Charlie, and my friends named their daughter that too. I think it's kinda cute for a girl though, and could be a NN for Charlotte.

    We have friends that named their daughter Gracyn. It sounds the same but when I look at the spelling it seems more like a girl's name. I am not a fan of it spelled either way.
