Stomach bug? please help

DD has been sick on a nd off for over a month now with different things. She woke Sunday night with a fever and cough that sounded like croup. She seemed to be fine by yesterday but when I went in to check on her before I went to bed last night there was vomit all over her bed and she was sleeping in it. I got everything cleaned up and today she's been acting pretty much normal except when ever she eats she kind of starts coughing and vomits again. The last two times it's like she's been choking. But I didnhear anything when she threw up in bed. I felt terrible. WHat could this be?Drainage from cough gagging her? She's not congested. Or stomach bug?

Next question is what should I be giving her to eat and drink? So far all food has come back up. Milk seems ok but I wouldn't want that if i was throuwing up. Thanks!

  • I would treat it like a stomach bug and not give her any food until she stops throwing up. Give her small sips of pedialyte or coconut water (the coconut water will hydrate and help with the vomiting). Once she has stopped throwing up for a while, give
