Stomach bug? please help

DD has been sick on a nd off for over a month now with different things. She woke Sunday night with a fever and cough that sounded like croup. She seemed to be fine by yesterday but when I went in to check on her before I went to bed last night there was vomit all over her bed and she was sleeping in it. I got everything cleaned up and today she's been acting pretty much normal except when ever she eats she kind of starts coughing and vomits again. The last two times it's like she's been choking. But I didnhear anything when she threw up in bed. I felt terrible. WHat could this be?Drainage from cough gagging her? She's not congested. Or stomach bug?

Next question is what should I be giving her to eat and drink? So far all food has come back up. Milk seems ok but I wouldn't want that if i was throuwing up. Thanks!

    Has she had a fever since Sunday? 

    It can definitely be some congestion--- and milk will make it worse so I'd take that out for a bit.  Maybe watered down juices, gatorade, etc.  I did have I think one episode with DS1 that he t

    First, I would call your ped and get their advice.

    As for my DS, the ped office said to not give any solids after LO threw up for at least 8 hrs but to try and give them liquids ie pedialyte and/or breastmilk if you're still nursing.  The li

    My kid always, always, always throws up when he has a cold. He just has a really strong gag reflex and when he starts coughing, he coughs so hard that he gags and some food/drink/mucus/mix of all three almost always comes back up. He usually is still p

    I would treat it like a stomach bug and not give her any food until she stops throwing up. Give her small sips of pedialyte or coconut water (the coconut water will hydrate and help with the vomiting). Once she has stopped throwing up for a while, give
