Starting IVF next week--very nervous; endo + 0.2 AMH, 30 years old

Hi,

This whole IVF thing has been a rush for my DH and I.  We were advised to go to the fertility clinic based solely on my endometriosis.  We had not yet started TTC. I am 30 and my husband is 33.  We thought maybe the doctor was going to start us off slow, like clomid or something.  But to our surprise, they recommended IVF right off the bat.  Now, after our testing, they are rushing us because my AMH is 0.2 which is extremely low for my age. This was devastating news for me to learn.  My tubes are clear based on the HSG and my endo is not on my reproductive organs--which is reassuring.  I am writing because I am looking for hopeful/positive stories with IVF for people who have similar circumstances to me. Thanks for your help and good look to everyone going through IVF!

    I have not done IVF, however I have bad endometriosis and know how terrible the pain can be and how fast it comes back even after having surgery.  I'm also 29 with low AMH ( .68 last time it was tested ).  It was very shocking to find out I h

    I am so sorry you are dealing with IF. I don't have any experience with your diagnosis, but I have seen many women on the boards with low AMH have successful IVF cycles. Sometimes it is a matter of finding the right protocol for you so I might post on the
