why do I have to be so scared?!

I know I just got my bfp, but I am terrified that it's all going to come crashing down at any point like last time. I hate that my u/s is so far away. Before IF, I'm pretty sure I didn't feel pregnant this early on, but I don't feel a thing. Well...nothing that the progesterone doesn't always make me feel anyway. I'm scared that all my frozen embies have something wrong with them. I'm sorry to be such a downer today when I should be counting my blessings....and I am thankful, but I just can't get past being terrified.

IF will play mind games with BFN or BFP. It's totally understandable. Maybe Call your RE and explain your feelings. He/she might let you come in sooner or for multiple u/s. I know it's hard. I was the same way my first IVF. IF forever changes us. Hang in there. I hope you see a great hb at your u/s... And get some morning sickness to ease your mind...j/k!!

Try to stay positive. You are pregnant!! How fantastic is that to say out loud?!!

I may regret saying this...but I would love some morning sickness! It would make me feel like this is actually going to work! I had terrible morning sickness with my first..but I think it was later than this point. Ugh. I keep telling myself to be happy. So hard after the loss after my fresh ivf cycle.

I was that way the first time around. I had no symptoms except mild cramping which made me run to the bathroom all the time just to make sure I wasn't bleeding. I knew it was crazy but I wished for some symptoms just to reassure me that the baby was sticking. Good luck!

IF can make the most sane people crazy. And after suffering a loss the "what if" type of thinking can take a long time to go away.

I had problems getting pregnant with DS, so when I got pregnant again I figured I was in the clear. After that loss I am sure I'll never look at another BFP the same, should I get one.

Just know that you aren't alone and that we are so happy for you and are keeping you and your baby in our prayers.

I am right there with you. IF and losses make you crazy!

I have had 3 u/s and saw the heartbeat each time. We heard it at our last u/s. Last night we were able to hear the heartbeat on the doppler. I have symptoms and I am still terrified. I also have this huge corpus luteum cyst which is stressing me out. I cannot lift (which is not easy with a 20 month old) no, sex, no exercising. Basically can't do much at all. Sometime I twist a certain way and I end up in excruciating pain. I am told if I do too much or bang it or twist it, it could cut off blood supply to the baby. Totally scary.

I hope it get easier as time goes on. I would def call and try and get an earlier u/s. I will be thinking about you.

I totally get this feeling. I was like this with my first pregnancy. I kept thinking I was going to loose the baby and something will go wrong.

Try to think positive thoughts as much as possible, I know it is hard and I wish you all the best.

Your feelings are totally normal and understandable. Don't fault yourself for feeling them! I have been through four losses, and it would have to be very far into a future pregnancy before I would be able to relax. I would be terrified too.

Try to tell yourself, though, that you have just as much right to enjoy this too! Bargain with yourself, and allow yourself some time to be excited! I agree with the other posters about seeing if you can get in for an earlier u/s. Maybe if you explain your feelings, they will be willing to get you in sooner.

We are all rooting for you and your baby! Keep us posted!

Thanks ladies...I'm glad I'm not crazy for feeling this way. Unfortunately, trying to get and earlier u/s probably won't work. My RE is adament about not giving them earlier than 7 weeks. I'll be 7 weeks on the 10th, but they only do pregnancy scans on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays! I absolutely love my RE's office, but I hate this particular rule of theirs.

Lauren: That is totally scary! Here I am whining about hopefully nothing while you have to deal with that!! I'll be thinking if you too and praying that everything stays good.

IF sucks and even after you get pregnant, it seems so hard to ever really feel safe. I'm praying for peace for you and that this is your bring home baby!

Thanks. Maybe I will give them a call next week and ask. I'm feeling a lot less crazy since everyone is suggesting I call. Plus, I'm paying for it! Haha! Then again...maybe I don't want to see if it's bad news. Ugh! Dang you IF for making me crazy!

I will be honest, I was scared and worried most of DS's pregnancy. This one has been no different especially with the SCH bleeding scare! A 7 week u/s will be great and be here before you know it!! I can't wait for you to join me over at PGIF!
