Daycare at 3 months

I am just curious as DS's are becoming much more alert and playful at home so I want to see what others are experiencing at daycare.  Currently they get play mat time for about 15 minutes twice a day and spend the rest of the time eating, sleeping or being held it seems.  I just don't want them to be under-stimulated.   They are in an in home daycare but are the only infants.  They are also only there from 8am to 4pm.

What does the typical day at daycare look like for your 3 month old?  If you are in an in home did you talk to the caregiver about this or provide anything for them to do?

    DS started daycare when he was 4 months. Some of the things they did (even at that age) were music time, story time, and playing with soft toys. Sometimes the teachers did little arts and crafts with them or would take them outside on a blanket if th

    I'm not positive what DS does at daycare all day. But, if she's happy, getting sleep, and eating, that's good by me. Babies get enough stimulation just leaving your house and being somewhere different.

    They play with her and read with her, that's about it.  I'm actually more worried about overstimulation at this age because just being around new people and other babies is a lot for them to handle!

    When DS was at Daycare they would send me a picture news letter everday with the days activity.  They did something different almost every day. Things like play with different textures, look at mirrors, play with music instruments, etc.  No

    We get a progress report listing what he did throughout the day. He gets tummy time, plays with toys, they read, listen to music. All kinds of stuff.

    DD will be four months on Monday, she has been in daycare for four weeks now. All they put on the report is feedings, diaper changes, and naptimes. Usually when I pick her up, she is either being held, in the swing or bouncer, or sleeping in her crib.
