I am just curious as DS's are becoming much more alert and playful at home so I want to see what others are experiencing at daycare. Currently they get play mat time for about 15 minutes twice a day and spend the rest of the time eating, sleeping or being held it seems. I just don't want them to be under-stimulated. They are in an in home daycare but are the only infants. They are also only there from 8am to 4pm.
What does the typical day at daycare look like for your 3 month old? If you are in an in home did you talk to the caregiver about this or provide anything for them to do?

When they aren't sleeping or eating they are "playing". They are on the floor a lot, tummy time, on their backs, laying in boppy's. They even take the infants out to the big play area 1 time a day and let them hang out there, if they are old and can cr
DD will be four months on Monday, she has been in daycare for four weeks now. All they put on the report is feedings, diaper changes, and naptimes. Usually when I pick her up, she is either being held, in the swing or bouncer, or sleeping in her crib.
