Good N/T Scan, pic included =)

DH & I had our NT Scan at 12 w 6 d yesterday- can't believe I'm already entering second trimester now (well, 13 weeks today). I drank 16 oz water like they said to beforehand, but apparently it hadn't actually filled up my bladder by the time the tech started our appt as the baby wasn't cooperating in the position the tech needed, so she she had me lay on my side for several minutes then came back. That seemed to do the trick and she was able to get her measurements. It was an amazing 20-30 minutes though, the baby was wiggling and stretching, and even "waved" at us a couple times! Seeing the baby go from a bean, to a blob to actually looking like a baby makes it feel so much more real now. The tech printed off 5 pictures for us, the best one is below. She also made a guess, saying she was 70% sure, of the sex of the baby...Said she's been doing this for 12 years but not to hold her to it of course, and we aren't. We're waiting until our a/s at 19 weeks before we start really shopping, but now I am curious as to if her guess will be correct or not.

Congrats on a wonderful NT scan! What a cute picture of LO Smile It's so amazing seeing how they grow from that little blob (I mean that in an endearing way) in the beginning!<
