I just started solids with DS last week, so I know it will be a lonnng while before he is solely on solids, but are any of your LOs solely on solids (except for maybe a bottle before bed)?
DS really likes his solid food. I know that he needs his bottle (of formula, and we also nurse a few times a day) for his nutrients still, but when can I let him eat as much solids as he wants? I know that formula and/or breast milk can be his sole nutrients for up to one year, but what is the earliest it can be?
How much solid food should I be giving him? Until he's done, a few ounces, a few bites?
Thanks in advance!
Re: Solely on solids?
Babies NEED formula or BM until a year. DD drinks 4 bottles a day. I'm before a year she might cut one out herself. I will always give her a bottle for breakfast, lunch and dinner atleast.
I'd suggest talking to your pedi more or atleast r
This is really helpful. I'm sure she appreciates your support. </
