Preemie Problems <3

I had my BB at 27 weeks... Crazy Story I woke up around 2 an Saturday night with really bad cramps I sat with my dog for 2 hours and just endured it. Finally I woke up my BD and told him I was in a ton of pain his reaction was hurry lets go to the hospital I said NONONO I just have to poop lol.. I soaked in the tub for a few hours. I was absolutely not going to the hospital to look foolish because I had to use the bathroom.. I finally fell back to sleep and woke up again around 7am And the pain was getting even worse.. It was Easter Sunday so I got up and got ready and the cramps kept getting worse even after I went to the bathroom!! Everybody told me I had a UTI and I had a doc appointment that Monday so I was trying to just get thru the pain. I made it thru easter dinner and even went back for second desert! I wasn't going to go to the hospital but as we were driving past I got a super bad  "cramp" when we were driving past the hospital I said OMG take me now the can make this stop atleast. We get into the hospital and my BD and is wheeling me up to the womens center popping wheels in the chair and we got lost getting up there HAHA. The get me all settled in and turns out I AM HVAING CONTRACTIONS... They wanted to see if i am dilated at all the one nurse checks and her eyes got HUGE she said oh honey i want to get the other nurse we like to double check each other I look at BD and said oh sh!t something is wrong! The other nurse comes in to check me and says well honey you are almost 5cm dilated and your cervix is thinned. I almost died right then and there. They said your having him TODAY! Within 10 minutes my little room was filled with 20 people and I am bawling my eyes out. They had to do and emergency c-section because he was dropping down but turned sideways. We get in the OR and I threw up all over the wonderful doctor. And BD is giving me all the updates IE there cutting you open now, there putting in the things to pull your stomach apart oh i could of punched him haha. Finally they get my precious miracle out of me and I heard him cry he sounded like a tiny baby kitten the doc kept saying healthy but small healthy but small! The little fighter kept ripping off his warming bad the put him in and he peed on the wonderful nurses twice. Needless to say my little 2lb 11oz jellybean is quite the fighter and is having his ups and downs but I am blessed that he is alive <3

    That is just the story of his birthday... I haven't finshed the post on his stay at the nicu now he is 3 weeks old / 32 weeks and 4 days. That was actually very hurtful.

    Sorry, your birth story had more excitement and joy than is usual with a preemie mom. We've had dishonest posters before, and are sensitive to it.

    Congrats on your baby, and best of luck with his NICU stay.

    I am very sorry that you are experiencing having a preemie.

    With that being said, we are a sensitive board and your story as pp said was rather joyful for having a 27 weeker. Also if you have a 3 week old baby and LO was born at 27 weeks the
