MN Favorites?

What is your favorite town, city, area, attraction, etc. to visit in MN? I'm looking for a few fun weeekend get a ways for summer.

It's a bit of a drive but we really love Grand Marais. It's just such a cute little "coastal" town on Lake Superior. In the summer it's thriving with cute gift shops and good food. There are lots of outdoor activities to do in the area as well :-)

We love Gooseberry Falls. It's really pretty and lots of opportunities to hike and stuff.

I love Duluth. We used to go every year when I was growing up! That is definitely on the calendar for this summer.

We love camping so any State Park in Minnesota! Not sure how much we will be camping this year with a newborn but we have a travel trailer with the comforts of home so it may not be too hard! Our favorites closer to the cities are Wild River, William O'Brien, and Interstate. Parks further out we like are Itasca and Sibley. All have camper cabins and some have guest houses. Itasca actually has a hotel with a restaurant!
I love Duluth too! DH is from there so we will be taking DS up there more often! We went to Red Wing a few summers ago when the state was shut down and we really liked it.

There are SO many but one of my favorites is Taylors Falls!! Stillwater, Red Wing, Wabasha, Lanesboro, anywhere on the north shore.... all beautiful locations :-)

I really like Red Wing, Winona, and Lake Pepin along the Mississippi. Hayward, WI is also a fun and cute town. Along the North Shore there are lots of spots between Duluth and Grand Marais. Gooseberry Falls has great hiking and camping.
