Date night question

Ok so I have a question about having date night after Lo has been born... We have yet to have a date night since he was born but tomorrow evening we have the chance! My question is anyone else currently living with your parents? We had to move in with my parents shortly after our son was born due to him losing his job and me being on maternity leave so we had to give up our place... We are so happy to have the chance to go out tomorrow night thanks to my mom watching the kids but I really would like the chance to have a romantic evening that continues once we get home if you catch my drift but with no where else to go because we can't afford a hotel for the evening and the kids and my parents will be at the house, what should we do? We've yet to have sex since the baby was born due to this exact fact and it's beginning to take it's toll on our relationship! Please any advise is much appreciated!!!

    A few weeks without sex is taking a toll on your relationship? I would use my bed, but my house has our guest room on the other side of th house, so I guess configuration matters.

    No the actual act of it isn't what is taking a toll but I guess its really not even having it as an option is why we are both frustrated in that area! We are set up in the basement which is open so we share the space with both kids, the baby isn't that bi

    I agree with pp that you could utilize the car or the shower. Or do you have the kind of relationship with your folks that you ask if your 5 year old could sleep somewhere else for the night like have a " sleep over" in grandpa and grandma's room?
