GD numbers

Ok, I know with all the GD check ins and the recent posts I shoudn't be worrying but I still am. I have a friend who is in the medical field and she tells me that my numbers aren't that bad and I should not be worried about my next appt. I kind of just want to get them out there and see what everyone thinks, GD or not (maybe some nurses out there) My goals for fasting are below 95 and for 2 hours post meal below 120. The high readings are bolded.

Fasting: 69, 63, 90, 82, 128, 90, 79, 82, 85

Breakfast (2 hour): 105, 79, 102, 93, 115, 121, 120, 106, 93 (I should mention the three high scores were during norovirus time at which I was only able to keep down gingerale which was keeping it high.)

Lunch: 84, 84, 132 (one pizza slice from work cafeteria so couldn't accurately count carbs), 94, 130 (sick), 110, 119, 102, 109

Dinner: 116, 71, 132, 113, 119, 120 (sick), 90

So thoughts? Am I going to get reamed at my appt or would you say I am keeping it controlled? I also feel like I should mention that my sugar was 214 at my one hour test. I obviously haven't even come close to that number. TIA!

ETA: I guess you really can't see the bold print.

  • It sounds like you're doing good. My midwife considers under 20 percent being high not bad. And if I did the math right you're at 16 percent!

  • I'm a nurse and compared to my patient's your numbers look great! With that being said I don't know anything about GD. I'm use to patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes. Just to give you some perspective, a diabetic usually does not take insulin unless their
