another carseat question

So, I did some online research, as well as went to Target and Walmart. The Graco Nautilus is nice, and I could get it as low as 139, but there are similar seats with less bells and whistles thatvi could get for half the price, like Evenflo Chase. I looked at a few sites and can't find a big difference in safety.

There has to be a safety difference right? It can't be equally as safe with half the money. Also, I read on one of the sites that the Graco seat has to use latch? Although no ther site said the same. My car is old and doesn't have latch.

  • Forgot to mention, skip the Chase, short lived and bad belt fit in booster mode.
