I lost control of my car this morning - there was a ton of rain on the road and I hydroplaned - on the way to drop DD off with my cousin for my one day of work at the office. We did a complete 360 as I tried to regain control, slamming the rear end into a concrete embankment before ending up on the shoulder. It was the scariest thing. Ever.
DD is such a tough, brave girl. She only cried for about 4 seconds while I raced around the car to get in the back seat to check on her. Then she just looked at me, like, "Why are we sitting in the car, mom? I'm cool."
My bumper is totally jacked but at least we didn't hit anyone else/get hit. I just seriously want to move somewhere that I can take a bike or public transit everywhere 
Ever since I got rear-ended while I was pregnant I've been terrified of getting into another accident, and now I have. Ugh.

I absolutely hate driving so I completely understand your fears. When it starts snowing, I'm a hermit unless I ride with DH.

Just a thought that you might want to check her car seat. I am pretty sure they are supposed to be replaced after any accident.
