Bf after a c section

My first two babies were born vaginally and I was able to latch them on right after they were born. Now I'm pregnant with twins and looking at a c section. How soon after can I BF? I can't even wrap my mind around the logistics. I'm worried about the twins not eating for hours after they are born and creating all kinds of crazy senerios. And of course when I'm at the obgyn I always forget to ask...

  • As I was being stapled shut on the operating table, the nurses tried to get my baby to latch. Unfortunately, it didn't work. But, we successfully breastfed after I came back from the recovery room about 2 hours. He wasn't given any formula or pacifiers
