NBR: Ideas for wedding gift

My best friend from high school is getting married in a few weeks.  She lives out of state and didn't register for gifts.  I know they don't really need any of the "basics" but I wanted to get her a little something to congratulate her and her FI on their big day.

I was thinking of making her a gift basket that I could mail her (not too big though, damn USPS postage!).  Any ideas on what I should include?

Another idea was a more simple personalized sign with her new last name... I'm keeping that idea in my back pocket as my second choice if I can't figure out the gift basket.  I thought I'd see what you ladies had as ideas for what to put in the gift basket.

    When my bestie from high school got married, my dumb butt waited until the last minute to get her gift. Only thing left on her registry was an iron. So yeah...she got an iron. Lol Don't help you much, maybe a lesson on what not to buy? Ha!!

    Gift basket is a cute idea. Maybe some picture frames (gotta put all those wedding photos somewhere!), candles, that kind of homey stuff. If there is a particular restaurant they enjoy then maybe a gift card for dinner?

    I love the gift basket idea. Although i have no idea what you could put in it. But it may be tacky, but maybe give some gift cards. Like a restaurant and movies. Or bed bath and beyond. So they can still have date nights, or even get something that they p

    If you have enough time...one of my best friends got me and DH... a personalized return address stamp. This comes in very handy with TY notes. I use it all the time!
    I also love PP idea of the last name with the letters being of random found object

    I really like the idea of a "Newlywed" themed gift basket and some of PP's suggestions. A gift card to order in or go out to dinner, a Netflix gift card, some wine or champagne, and frames would be cute. I would probably incorporate some funny things in t
