Pregnant after 35

Decrease in fetal movement around 22 weeks?

The past 2 days, I barely-to-never feel my baby move. At 16-20 weeks, I could feel her a lot like my whole upper uterus was shaking. I think I remember that this decrease in movement may happen because the baby is running out of room to do "big" full body movement while at the same time the baby's little single limb kicks are too small for me to feel.

Of course this happens while I am traveling out of state without a doppler and do not have my pregnancy books with me.

Anyone else have this experience?

  • Based on the location of my placenta at 16 weeks and again at 20 weeks, I think that my placenta has moved high and anterior enough to muffle the baby movements. I was able to feel the baby in the really high park of my uterus for several weeks, starting

  • I was like you feeling all kinds of small movement early on and then a decrease at 22-24 weeks and then all of a sudden she increased movement at around 28 weeks.  Now I am feeling her move regularly I think because she has gotten stronger and bigger
